My Garden is Happy!

It is a beautiful Mother's day and cowboy Bill and I are having his 80 year old Mom and Dad over for Mom's Day.
It isn't hard as they live in our back yard.
Any way Bill will probably be back to work this week from his horse escapade injury and I love him but I want him out of the house and back to WORK!!!!!
The television will meet it's dimise if he isn't back to work this week! LOL
So a happy Mom's Day to all of you!

It's a Beautiful Day!

It is a beautiful day and I thank God that I can appreciate the sunshine the birds chirping and my border collie who always loves me.
My hubby Bill the cowboy as he is known by many just came back from his yearly DeAnza trail ride.They usually ride their horses a total of 190 miles in 7 days.
This is the first time he has come back injured.
His horse fell and rolled over on him on Thursday.
Everyone that was near him jumped off their horses and helped and then he rode the last mile and a half into camp on Poke (the horse).
Well Bill's 80 year old Dad was a driver and took him to Hemet hospital where he spent Thursday night and part of Friday morning.
He dislocated his shoulder and is swollen on the right side of his body from head to toes.His right arm is in a sling thing strapped to his side.
I will be taking him to our regular doctor tomorrow as the doctor at the hospital wants him to see an orthopedic surgeon.
I thank God that he wasn't hurt worse.
I try very hard to apply an attitude of gratitude to my every day life.
I am a glass half full girl and can laugh at myself and cry with other's.

Where I have been

Well I guess it is time for a new post.
Thank you DebraK for asking where I have been.
One of our kids is really going thru a bad time right now and I guess I have been in a world of hurt for Her and two of my Grand children.
I will post more later as right now I can't.

~~~~~HERB BREAD~~~~~

~~Rainy days are Bread days~~

Sunday was WET! So I Baked a new bread recipie, herb bread which is a very kneady yeast bread and it turned out great,well according to Hubby.
Then my lovely picky daughter tried it and said she loved it! Well I was doing the happy dance.
So with two cracked ribs and alieve as my new best friend I made good use of my time.
Trust me kneading bread by hand with cracked ribs is stupid!LOL

I thought I would change my kitchen window again as I am always in the kitchen.I like the airy greenery look and will keep it,well for a little while! It rained so hard on Saturday night and all day yesterday that the sun is so comforting and warming coming thru the window.

Those Curtis Boys!

The four Curtis boys really didn't want their picture taken. However Grandma rules! So a sad looking Grandpa is staring at the camera and the Curtis boys only want to finish making their ice cream sundies! Go figure.
